Nutrient - Sulphur (aka Sulphate)

Sulphur is called the ‘beauty mineral’, as it is involved in making collagen and keratin, thereby helping maintain shiny smooth hair, clear youthful-looking skin and strong nails. Sulphur is found in insulin, which is important for healthy blood sugar balance. It works with vitamins B1 and B5, biotin and alpha lipoic acid to maintain healthy metabolism and nerves. Sulphur is important for healthy joints, muscles, respiratory and immune systems, blood and blood clotting, gall bladder and liver function and sleep. It is easily destroyed in food.  Present in certain amino acids and some naturally occurring substances.
