Pumpkins originate from America and are related to squashes, cucumbers and melons. Nutty-tasting pumpkin seeds are a good source of omega 6 and 9 polyunsaturated fatty acids, fibre, protein, phytosterols, cholorophyll, vitamins, especially antioxidant vitamin E, and minerals, particularly zinc. They also provide omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Nutrients in pumpkin seeds may help support a healthy prostate, bladder and reproductive function.

Delicious pumpkin seed oil is a good source of omega-6 and 9 polyunsaturated fatty acids. It also provides omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.
