Nutrient - Digestive enzymes

Digestive enzymes provides a broad spectrum of plant enzymes to help support the digestion of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and plant fibres.

Proteases and peptidases are enzymes that break down dietary proteins; amylase digests starch; lipase digests fats; invertase is an enzyme that breaks down sucrose; glucoamylase breaks down starches; malt diastase (maltase) digests maltose, malt and grain sugars; xylanase breaks down components of plant cell walls (fibre); cellulase digests cellulose fibre; lactase digests milk sugar; and tannase breaks down tannic acid.

Also contains ginger root, fennel seed and fenugreek seed which may help to support the digestive system, support gastric secretions, soothe the intestinal tract and provide antioxidant protection.
