B. longum is the dominant bacterium in the gut lining.  It is one of the first bacterium to colonise newborn babies’ digestive systems, especially in breast-fed babies. It supports balanced gut flora by inhibiting unfriendly bacteria, pathogens and yeast. It supports healthy immunity and helps break-down plant foods and eliminate toxins from the gut.
